It is popularly said that everything is energy, and also scientifically accepted that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This module emphasizes upon the same aspect of understanding. We observe, feel or perceive energy in different forms. Now question arises whether all of the physically perceivable objects constitute energy or it is even beyond physical world.

Debate is going on and a number of research studies are being conducted across the globe to understand especially metaphysical aspect of energy. Science now accepts energy not only in physical forms but also as non-physical systems and programs. But it becomes more complex when we come to connect it with life. Life is energy; no doubt about it but what is that energy is a question mark for the modern science till date. Only difference between a dead person and an alive- person is life which can be measured only from the physical functions operating in the body of the person. The functions are operating because of the energy as an effect of the life energy. Effect cannot be called a cause but can be treated as a proof of the cause. When energy is eternal then definitely the deceased persons must be available in some form of the energy.

The problem with this phenomenon is that research on metaphysical aspects is done using physical tools. Very obviously sensitivity of physical tools can be suspected for the metaphysical material. For example, when we say that ‘x’ person is thinking about ‘y’ person. Can we measure that thought or even can we even know whether the person is thinking or not. The only way is to trust the statement of the person in this regard. Here we are talking about the experience, i.e., effect of the cause. Similarly the metaphysical truths can be experienced only through the meditative tools using the energy beyond the physical world.
